Amanda Macklin spent 17 years of her early life deeply devoted to ballet and contemporary dance, when after a promising future with it, she injured her ankle . This brought her to music at the age of 19 when she was gifted with a guitar. Poetry and writing had always been a deep aspect of her expression as well.

At age 16 she began having random spiritual experiences; Heightened states of consciousness and spontaneous astral projections that were difficult to navigate.

Though many songs were written in her early twenties, it was through the birth of her daughter and the profound journey that ensued that created the deep connection to her gifts. 

She spent several years as a music minister in a Unity church exploring the divinely inspired music and experiencing the challenges and remarkable transformations from having a beloved child with severe autism.

At the age of 28, she experienced the beginning of a series of subsequent miraculous transcendent states. The first being the most intense, involving deep and vast illumination of soul. All thought was ceased, no need for food or sleep, spontaneous dancing and no sense of time for 2 weeks. There was a sweet nectar like substance that some call the "soma" that sustained the body. She experienced yoga as a deep embedded memory and the joy of teaching it, in its many layers, to others.
